Been busy and haven't visited Kye-U for a couple of days.That redirect caught me by surprise.

Surely,this isn't a warzone.It seems rather unfair that first-time visitors to the Un-Official forum are immediately ushered to another location.

I tend to agree with you. I'd sort like the option of going to another site given to me. ...Unless the site I'm being re-directed to has a better collection of Pamela Anderson pics than I do.

Music - damned good. Imitation of Elvira - damned poor.

You will note that she used to be an Elvira wannabe, but no longer. She's still floating about in the entertainment world, due to her voice, and a good thing that is. Our eyes can easily become, er.... ahem.... (*cough, cough*).... jaded. (Please don't hit me!) However, our ears can never get enough good music.

But they are both well over the hill, so judging them by their appearance isn't really fair anymore. Siouxsie still has her voice, but CP has to rely on schtick, and she's doing pretty good at it, but it will eventually fail. It has become even more "camp" than it was in the first place, n'est-ce pas?

Where I'm coming from is that CP has an excellent sense of humor and timing, and turned a cheesy, almost tawdry, affair into an international phenomenon. I still maintain that she had fun doing it, she entertained a helluva lot of people (of both genders, I might add), and she acheived a goal that many, many people aspire too, but forever fall short thereof. (Meaning fame, of course.) That's the reason I envy her her skills, and exhort her as an example or role model in how to have a rich and fulfilling life.

Not to mention that she did all this while raising a couple of kids and a husband, and a menagerie of pets. Pretty slick doings, if it had been a man. I can't help but notice that women do it every day, and shrug it off as if it were nothing special. Yeah, right. I didn't see Elvis the Pelvis spooning strained peas into Lisa's little mouth while he was getting fat in 'Vegas.

(Oooh, am I getting serious here, or what? I better go check my medicine cabinet and see what I took this morning.)

In any event, the avatar looks good, and I have no right to complain (if it was somehow taken that way). After all, I'm not even courageous enough to put up my own avatar, now am I?

Speaking of which, I'm now open to suggestions on that little topic. Any suggestions? Or should I say, any suggestions will be cheerfully ignored!

Having now returned to our regularly scheduled topic, already in progress......

Arne's forum is where most of us met, as you already know. I'd hazard a guess that since it has returned to visibility, Kye-U has done the courteous thing, and posted a link to that site, directly on the main index page of this here UOP forum.

As Arne is now a visitor here also, I'm mighty glad that I didn't bad-mouth him in the early days after his board went dark. Lot's of people were harsh about his sudden departure, but let's face it, it was his nickel, so he could do as he wished, and he did.

I daresay, the main index page link is properly labeled as a redirect, over to the right of the table. Or were you both just asleep at the switch at that moment? Perhaps you had a spastic twitch, and your fingers got ahead of your eyes? Doesn't matter. Where you went was not harmful at all. Although, if you do decide to visit there more often, it is strongly suggested that you bypass Proxo for that site. History shows that nothing bad will happen if you do this. (Not that I'm recommending it over the UOP forum, mind you, I'm just comforting you by telling you that you haven't contracted a case of the heebie-jeebies - all is well.)

But that Pamela Anderson thing, that's sick! See my diatribe above. <_<

Nice to see you all!

As some know, my policy has been to share, to give and to gather. This has not been an easy way to be and many knives went through my back, both while the forum was online and after. When bringing my forum online again, my first idea was to share once again. This time also through exchanging links with Kye-U. And also knowing that he is a helpful guy and also have this thing about sharing and giving, in him, as well, I made him an Admin over at my place. I have not been offline; only the forum went offline, so I know pretty much what has been going on in cyberspace. That is why I knew already before opening it again, who has the spirit
