Gang,

Tired of seeing IE open at whatever window size and position if feels like? This will take care of that irksome little detail!!

Up until now, I'd been using Autosizer to make IE open the way I want, not the way it wants. That was cool, but I didn't need it except to handle IE. Now, I load IEWinSize to do the job. Much smaller and a bit quicker, it's very controllable.

I believe, but don't hold me feet to the coals, that this will also work on IE clones. Might be worth a try, eh?

Give your heartburn a rest - no need to curse any more as IE does it's own thing. You are once again in control. Hah! Take that, Microsoft! [beatdown]

I have a window resizer and mover called ZMover by Basta Computing. You can use it on any window by telling it what is in the title bar. It is not free, but is cheap, and it was worth it to me. It can also set state (normal, maximized, minimized) and layer (top, normal, bottom).

Autosizer does that very same thing - manipulate windows based on Title Bar contents. Only thing is, it's free. <_<

I suggested IEWinSize merely because it's much smaller, and actually has a more intuitive interface for what it does. If I ever perceive a need to control any windows other than IE, I'll certainly reinstate Autosizer. :P
