Im trying it out right now and to be honest, using it with proxo it looks feels and works virtually identical to IE. But I guess that's a good thing.
I know the coders like Firefox for it's ability to view source code of web pages etc. But for regular users of Proxo who are not inflicted with the problems others face with IE; i.e. browser hijacking etc., what are it's advantages? I don't see any, and Sleipnir seems to be quite a bit more versatile for tabbed browsing. Or is it a "hate anything MS thing". Any thoughts?
My sentiments exactly - the 'claim to fame' for 'the dead fox' is really nothing more than an anti-MS thing...

Sleipnir is totally freaking awesome!!!

AND, I will even go so far as to add, Sleipnir has the ability to use the Gecko engine as well...

'the dead fox' has a LOT of catching up to do when compared to Sleipnir...
What the link for sleipnir. i keep getting pages in japanese. Also does Sleipner need Sun java?
http://sleipnir.pos.to/cgi-bin/d/download....dl=sleipnir166z I don't know about the java, I have Sun installed. It does have the option to enable/disable javascript.
I use Fireofx for the tabbed browsing. I hate how IE doesnt have the tabs and it loads really slow on my computer.
Sleipnir is the one I use for tabbed browsing, it is very versatile. IE and Firefox open and work virtually identically on my pc.
