A big thank-you!!!

For something that has only been in development for a few months, proximodo is amazing! This really bodes well for the future. I need to do more thorough testing[1] - but if this this is so good already, well, the sky's the limit...



I am definitely switching from Proxomitron to proximodo to help test. It feels strange to leave Proxomitron after so many years - but I feel secure knowing this is the phoenix that will keep the proxomitron flame alive.

I devoted a lot of time to the project while I was unemployed. I'm still but not for long. Will continue devs of course, but I hope developers will join and help. There has been a huge amount of requests, and that adds to the testing & debugging to carry out on the existing code. Much enough to keep busy for many years

Btw, I was reported an article in the Jerusalem Post newspaper about Proxomitron and Proximodo. Very nice article I must admit, considering that Proximodo is still an alpha version... [rolleyes]

The advantage with Proximodo is that if you wonder how exactly it handles something, you can directly look at the code ;-) That's what I call tranparency. I also put lots of comments in the engine and proxy code (not in the GUI because it is so boringly straightforward).

(I don't know how Proxomitron handles connections, but Proximodo isn't required to do exactly the same.)
