Pro
It would boost forum activity and allow for more input in topics.

Con
More spamming, less control over topics.

Anyways, we are, after all, a democratic forum, and I'd like some input Cheers
I say yes because i think a lot of people would like to post, but don't want to go through the hassle of registering. I've done this myself on some forums. If it gets too out of hand, you can always disable it.
I agree with Shea.

Not so sure about "democratic", sometimes i came back to the forum and thought "what the heck has happened here?". Wink
I think the "Downloads" subforum that was there for a couple of hours was a good idea as well.

(Shea, the dumb-geek link in your sig is dead for some time now.)

Sidki, that was a test run (an Invision mod that adds a paFileDB like page to Invision)

But it was buggy and I had problems uploading test files so I removed it.

Shea, our PHP master, is writing a script to read the files available from the paFileDB tables in the MySQL database so that we can integrate it into our new website Smile!

BTW Sidki, I've added a link to your site in the Links section of TUOPS [lol]
Dumb-Geek is what hosted Kye-U.com, so it's down at the same time kye-u.com is down.
