Privoxy
Has anyone tried Privoxy lately? It's extraordinary right out of the box now! No ugly text referring to blocked addresses, links, etc., no youtube ads whatsoever, all my sites work, and I haven't seen a solitary ad. Not as fast as Proxo, but not bad either. The only thing it misses is social widgets, but that's easy enough to fix with an extension.

RE: Privoxy
I'm starting to see some Privoxy blue text referencing blocked content. You can change this to show a blank transparent .gif by going to the main configuration file and changing "enable-edit-actions 0" to "enable-edit-actions 1" (minus parentheses). Then, with the Privoxy window open, go to the help pulldown menu, and select "privoxy status." Here you can edit the action files to suit your needs. It should be pretty self explanatory once you get to the edit options area.
