Perhaps, but they are still the base of mine.

Not an easy thing to do, beyond referers, redirection scripts. Especially, for one person.

RE: ProxHTTPSProxyMII: Reloaded
I'm currently using ProxHTTPSProxyMII: Reloaded Version 1.4 (20160112) exe version. I see lot of certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:600) errors on web pages that have valid SSL certificate (like https://elisaviihde.fi/). How can I fix this problem?

That site opens for me.
You could try my current ProxHTTPSProxyMII folder at https://1fichier.com/?dp5otr4ep4, http://prxbx.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=2172&pid=19062#pid19062 .

RE: ProxHTTPSProxyMII: Reloaded
brand new to ProxHTTPSProxyMII so hopefully this hasn't already been asked...

how does ProxHTTPSProxyMII handle the user agent string?

if i want the web site that i am at to "see me" as Win10/IE11, for example, is it possible to set the user agent string via ProxHTTPSProxyMII?

ie, if i can set it via ProxHTTPSProxyMII then i should *NEVER* see a d@mn freakin' "your browser is out of date" 'notification' !!!...

Pass-thru, it can't modify or create the user agent string.

RE: ProxHTTPSProxyMII: Reloaded
bummer...

i'm using sidki's 2011-12-22rc1 config as my base and for some reason even faking the user agent isn't working...

Chase online banking still blocks access from Opera 12.18 and Pale Moon 26.5.0, "you have an outdated browser"...

to which i always reply out loud to the computer, "so what! who cares!", and others in the house tell me to stop talking to the computer...

my current avenue is reverting to Avant Browser 2014 Build 7...
it incorporates THREE rendering engines (IE8, Firefox 30, and Chrome 35)...

it's the "oldest" Avant i can find that works for both Capital One and Chase, which are my two problematic sites of late...

RE: ProxHTTPSProxyMII: Reloaded
I just installed Iridium browser hoping to get slightly more privacy-friendly version of Chrome, but https pages will not load and return a message: "Your connection is not private. Attackers might be trying to steal.... etc... NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID" There is sometimes an option to proceed to the site anyway but the page will display as text-only. I haven't had any problems with Google Chrome 36.0, so I'm not sure why this would behave any differently.

Actually they will most likely figure out your browser through javascript. Changing the user agent will only get you so far (e.g. should be enough for google to get a nicely formatted page while masquerading as IE)

I've found this to be true mostly for popular file-sharing hosts, though.

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him" - John 3:36
