CableNut .css selection...
Anyone in here use CableNut (or have a viable alternative to suggest)?

I finally upgraded to CABLE - no more fax machine pig-squeals for 30 seconds to 'hand shake'...

Now I'd like to "tweak" the Windows 2000 "settings"...
My Windows XP Pro is connected via "wireless-G" and I'm not overly concerned with it's "settings"...

TCIP
Experimenting with both CableNut and TCP Optimizer...

before either, according to CNET's "bandwidth meter", my connection, with Win 2000's "default" settings, was running at ~1.4 Mbps (quite consistently)...

messing around, i've been getting anywhere from ~1.6 Mbps to ~3.2 Mbps (chaotically all over the place, but 'better')...

i'll experiment more tomorrow evening...
