The compiled does work, but feels slower, than the .py-version. That must be just my perception.

* Minimize to System Tray
* Ability to change listening port
* Option to choose operating mode for original https request: Bypass aka SSL-Pass-thru, or 307-Response
Using ProxHTTPSProxy, i've successfuly modified my $RDIR filters, so .js or .css on https sites can be eventualy redirected.

I'd say mostly "it is what it is".
Python may be the quickest way to a new filtering proxy, so, eventually, I'll investigate some issues.

It wouldn't serve up the results of Google SSL, per that little IE issue I was having. Maybe it's unrelated. the old UA list handles Google SSL just fine, so not sure why the new UA string botches Google. But that's a subject for another thread

Did you ensure that ProxHTTPSProxy had access to a current proxcert.pem and add the Proxomitron's certificate to IE's certificate store?
Works for me with Chrome and IE10.
Unfortunately, current Firefox does not allow connection without site by site exceptions due to the self-signed certificate.

Perhaps. All I know is that I am quite done with IE. It had been awhile since I'd tried and thought I'd test it for awhile. It's very fast, but barely extensible.
