As a current proxomiton user, I have been watching the proximodo development with interest. But I have been wondering what benefits have been gained from starting from scratch rather than taking a mature product in Privoxy and enhancing its capibilities ?

Hi "Khaine",
I like the idea of Proximodo in that it's open source, while "Proxo's" source code now belongs to "Scott Lemmon's" family and no one can touch it as it should be since that was the way "Scott" wanted it. So I applaude all the efforts of "kuruden" and wish him well with "Proximodo". I was very glad to see someone with enough skill to pick up the ball & tackle the project. However, I like "Privoxy" very very much and right now if there wasn't a "Proxomitron" to use, I would be trying how to build a "Rotation Filter" for "Privoxy". And I might add, . .that's a very good question that You asked. Smile!
