Sandboxie - on sale for $19 now
Sorry for the late post on this. Couldn't for the life of me get my login for "mzm". Anywho..
Sandboxie is on sale for $19 at Bits du Jour for today only, and the time is almost up as there's only about an hour to go. (Yikes) I know there's a free version, but the paid version has multiple sandboxes and forced programs. It's a great little program, plus the paid license is for "life" and includes free upgrades. Get it while it's hot. -M |

RE: Sandboxie - on sale for $19 now
that's kinda funny...
i'm glad to see someone else out there goes out of their way due to a paranoia about .js-crap in .pdf's... |

RE: Sandboxie - on sale for $19 now
I do it since i read about the posted filters, didn't want to disable it with the possibility of breaking some content.
Basically my way is proxomitron for http content, adblock plus for blocking a pair of offsite js using https and sandboxie for isolating risky software. It's an easy and brokenless way

RE: Sandboxie - on sale for $19 now
i've yet to see blocking .pdf .js "break" CONTENT...
printing a .pdf with the .js-crap and printing the .pdf without the .js-crap has ALWAYS resulted in IDENTICAL printouts... blocking the .js-crap WILL break "forms"... and by that, all that is "broken" is that a 'tab' won't move from one field to the next, a field won't be "highlighted", a field won't be filled in "for you"... i say, SO WHAT, so i lose some "highlighting" feature, so i have to fill in the blanks myself... SO WHAT!
