More and more sites cannot connect through Proxo and produce the following error :
« SSLeay couldn't establish a secure connection to... »

Where can I find updated SSL files, mine are version 0.9.8 from 2006 ?

Sticking to Windows XP. Firefox 52esr

To use newer than 0.9.8 requires patching the Proxomitron.

Your other choice is ProxHTTPSProxyMII.
