Could there be a sticky here with a list of known issues, taken from http://proximodo.sourceforge.net/TODO.txt so new users can quickly see what is known about before posting on issues?

Ian;

I'm not speaking for kuruden, but I for one am thankful that he even addresses us here at the UOPF. Sourceforge.net is far, far larger than we are, and kuruden can find lots of help, resources, critiques, and other input there, all without so much as a peep from us. If we ask him to essentially duplicate the Sourceforge project on this forum, then we more or less ask him to double his workload. I'm not in favor of that, and I'll bet you aren't either. It's easier for all concerned if I just go look at the project on Sourceforge first, then come back here amongst my friends, and spout off my two cents worth. I'd like to humbly request that you consider doing the same, please.

Thanks for understanding.

Thanks Oddysey,
I think I can make everybody happy by putting a link to the todo.txt in the 'requested features' sticky note. I update the file regularly on SF, but Kye-U forums are my main source for user feedback.

Btw, I'm a bit busy right now (job seeking...)

kuruden;

Here I am, on the Innernet (or in my case, the 'tardnet), and I don't even think of using a link. D'OH!!! [angry] Thanks, kuruden, that should do the trick.

Hope you get "well" soon, meaning, I hope you earn enough bread to put bread 'twixt wind and water. A starving programmer is not a pretty sight! [lol]

Link in a sticky is great! The reason I asked is that someone was complaining about Proximodo not working at all (he heard about it here) - I managed to track down that he disabled the "prevent webpage encoding" filter you use to bypass the gzip bug. I know people shouldn't be lazy and search stuff for themselves, but having a clear link to known issues can do no harm.

And good luck with job hunting - may your arrows be sharp and your bow true!

maybe i'm in a closet here, but how is one able to use more then 1 filter configuration? i wanted to use a test configuration for troubleshooting, yet keep my default config in tact. i did the "duplicate config" thing, renamed the duplicate, apply, reload, restarted the app, etc., and could never get the new config to actually load. i can select it the config "name" drop-down box and hit apply, or whatever, but it never loads.
