OMG! I was on the edge of my seat watching this movie.
Most of the scary movies I buy on DVD are usually that made-for-teenagers-at-the-drive-in stuff. It's really hard to find a genuinely scary movie. But this one, this one was really tense, and really scary. |

I watched that one over at my friends house. His brother scared the crap out of us....He had watched it like 5 times and knew when the scary parts were and he would like scream and push us and we all jumped! It was a pretty scary movie though.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a documentary, right?
I'm struggling to recall any scary movies that actually did put the willies up me... As a kid,I watched "The Omen"-yes,I was alive when it was first released. That freaked me out quite substantially.I think it has stood the test of time, too.Still a great yarn. Amnityville Horror (Did I spell that correctly?) had me wondering whether any objects d'art would teleport themselves into my bedroom as I hid under the covers. ????,??,????`????,? _J_G_ ????,??,????`????,? |

Actually the "Massacre" didn't happen in "Texas", supposely it happened in "Connecticut" and the Movie was based on a serial-killer that sometimes used a Chain-Saw to get rid of the body after he had killed his victim.

"LoL", . . .I saw the actual house that "The amityville horror" was "Shot" in, . . . .in some of the shots, . .lol(pun), . . .in the movie the house almost looks like it has a face, . . .and it looks very scary, You know, . . .however when You look at in 'real time", . . .it's not scary at all it looks like every other house in that sub-division, . .HAHahahah! However, . . .when I walked away, . . .I was almost sure that I heard a "low whispery voice" say, . . . . . . . . . . "Y'all come back now, ya hear"?
![]() Of course it could be just the "voices" again, . . . .Doc says I'm getting much better, . .Mahahahahahah, . . . ![]() Best Wishes, "JaK" [smoke] |

Time to pee in someone's Cheerios.....
Mindless Panic Films - that's all they are. People running around, screaming and hollering, bah! [angry] As if they had a reason to suddenly abandon all rational reasoning and panic just for the hell of it. Double bah! Once you've gone a few rounds with Death itself, mano y mano, you'll see these wastes of celluoid for what they are: just that - a waste of time, and not worth the effort it takes to deride them in a forum. But I will admit that I wish I had the box-office receipts these things generate - there are an awful lot of people out there who seem to love to panic mindlessly. Curses! Where's that bottle of chlorine when we need it? The gene pool is getting mighty contaminated. 'Nuff said. Oddysey OK, disclaimer time. I live by the 23rd Psalm, as modified for modern times. If you'll allow me to elucidate, you'll quickly understand my position above. In essence: "Yea, though I walk through the valley in the Shadow of Death, I shall fear no Evil, for I am the baddest son-of-a-* in the valley!" I'm no longer in the rat race - the rats won't have me! |

Ya know, I should go back and edit that post a little bit. It was more than a little harsh, but I'm not gonna, because then nobody would understand any of the following comments. It was just my two cent's worth of opinion. No more expensive than anyone else's, but no cheaper, either. That line you quoted was from a common saying used by GI's in the VietNam era. I actually cleaned it up a bit, just for family consumption, you understand. :P And no, I don't really consider myself a first class bad-***.... but I am still alive and kicking after all these years. That counts for something, doesn't it? <_< Oddysey, the occasionally forgetful who relies on that excuse when he stupidly pisses somebody off. I'm no longer in the rat race - the rats won't have me! |

If living life by the convictions of one's own heart & by the dictates of one's own conscience is the definition of a "Redneck", . . .then I most definitely am one.
