RE: Windows 7
(Jan. 16, 2009 07:31 PM)Ralph Wrote: I recently installed Windows 7 from the Microsoft website on another partition and it's running fine . A lot of eye candy ; nice , but no real performance boost over my tweaked Vista HP . Anyway , Proxo works great on it using Sidke's latest cfg as my default ; but I can't get it to auto start . Any ideas ? I put it in the Startup folder and it auto starts at bootup. It is the same as you do for any earlier version of Windows to have a program autostart. So, you are having a problem after putting it there? I couldn't just drag the icon to All Programs/startup because it wouldn't drop there. I had to futz around a bit to get it in the folder but once I managed to get it there Proxo starts on boot. I don't have the eye candy because I have Windows 7 on Microsoft VPC but I don't think not having eye candy would have anything to do with Proxo auto starting for me but not you. |
