i'm only using 9.4 Gig of this 40 Gig'er and only have a 20 Gig'er at home (also only using 9-some Gig)...

my virtual disks are on a 160 Gig USB external drive...
any music/digital photos/et cetera are burned to DVD-R's...

i've never understood why people think they "need" massive 300+ Gig hard drives - all they are asking for is to lose EVERYTHING all at once, 'cause when they have that much "storage", they do NOT archive, "why archive, i'm only using 20G out of 300, at this rate, i won't run out of room for another 15 years"...
