besafe and Ralph;
As for other browsers, it's a personal game. I'm just sad that many of the more popular ones under Windows are not available on Unix/Linux platforms, nor even on BSD. Yet. When I use Fedora or SuSe 9.0, I'm fairly happy with Mozilla (included in both distros), but I miss some of my IE habits, I have to admit. Plus, I can't use Proxo under anything else but Windows, so I'm stuck here when I want to surf. Makes re-booting from one OS to the other a pain, so I end up in the Windows domain most of my machine-on time. I still use Linux for website development under PERL, PHP, javascript, etc. The secure shell is lot easier for this old fart to understand and use. Oddysey I'm no longer in the rat race - the rats won't have me! |
