URL matching

If I want a filter to only apply while viewing the main root page of a website but not subpages, how would I put that on the url line?

Example, I want the filter to be active here:
(http://www.|)someserver.com/

but not if I'm on: http://www.someserver.com/info.html

It works if I can find out what the homepage file is called (index.htm/default.htm/index.php/etc) but if I can't figure that out or don't want to limit it, how can I limit that automatically?
