Site favicon

Hey, you added a favicon, cool!
Can you make the background transparent? Because it looks a bit weird here in Firefox. Big Teeth

edit: Here is it with BG transparent, the txt extension is bogus - just for attaching.

sidki;

How come you know that Kye-U added a favicon? I don't see it. Worse, I can't d/l yours, and make IE use it. Any ideas?

Firefox shows the site's favicon in the tab and the address bar. As for downloading, it's in the server's root dir:
http://74.53.146.215/favicon.ico
IE uses the icon just for bookmarks, so if you store it locally you can - best within IE - right-click the bookmark -> Properties -> Change Icon . Smile!

Unless you're like me and block favicons... te he...
Guess I just don't see the point in them - but that's just me, of course...

sidki;

Thanks for the reminder - I guess my brain (loosely speaking, of course) is still fried. I really did forget about the "Change Icon" trick in the shortcut. Works now, thanks again.

ProxRocks;

Believe it or not, this is the first time ever that I've decided to allow a favicon. Like you, I don't believe in them, but if Kye-U went to the effort, then I'll at least see how I like it before summarily dismissing it.

Nothing wrong with your point of view, it's essentially the same as mine, but darnitall, I like the little bugger! [lol]

JD_alpha (don't know why we keep calling it alpha, we might as well call it JD_final) downloads the .txt file...

sidki's config does not - it tries to download index.php...
