Kye-U mate, I would be interested to know where you installed JAP
As part of the Proxo-Privoxy-Tor chain? (I'm thinking you would use it as Proxo -> Privoxy -> JAP -> TOR) .. maybe or just Proxo and JAP? or something other combination? Are you still using it? worth it? Magician. |

hmmm.
Ok so I've figured out the TOR bit (its built into JAP). Tried it today, and perhaps its only cause I have a dial-up connection, but I found the connection, slow, pausing for long time periods (30seconds plus) and at one point the javax.exe process was running at 98% for bout 1min before I killed it. This was using a Proxomitron - Privoxy -> Jap chain ( simply changed Jap to use the same port - 9050 - as tor did, that way the other progs didnt need changing) I'll trying it again later in the weekend maybe, but I'm not finding it very useful at the moment. Do you have Broadband Kye-U, or are you using dial-up? |

Ahh, that may explain it.
The delays are possibly related to the amount of time it takes to use the TOR service (selecting paths, downloading server lists etc.) I'll have more of a play later. |
