Hi Jak,
My Rejuvenator and Session_Only folders are on my C:\ drive. The files in the rejuvenator folder are archive, but based on your last post , i experimented and changed them to Read Only, but problem persists. I am experiencing the same problem as Shea. After the files in the Session_Only folder are deleted by Proxo.cmd.bat.bat, new ones are not being copied from the Rejuvenator folder. Note that under Proxo's Configuration, Access, Prefix all URls with... I am using Cmd. from JDs filter set. Also I checked Windows autoexec.bat batch file and these are the entries @PATH C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;C:\PROGRA~1\WIN98RK;%PATH% REM C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDP~1\PCSCAN.EXE C:\ C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\ /NS /WIN95 SET Path=%Path%;"C:\ProgramFiles\ExecutiveSoftware\DiskeeperLite\" @ECHO OFF rem - By Windows Setup - C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\DELTREE /y c:\windows\history\*.* > NUL rem - By Windows Setup - C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\DELTREE /y c:\windows\tempor~1\*.* > NUL rem - By Windows Setup - C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\DELTREE /y c:\windows\temp\*.* > NUL rem - By Windows Setup - C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\DELTREE /y c:\windows\cookies\*.* > NUL These are the entries on the autoexec.dos file @PATH C:\PROGRA~1\WIN98RK;%PATH% REM C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDP~1\PCSCAN.EXE C:\ C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\ /NS /WIN95 SET Path=%Path%;"C:\Program Files\Executive Software\DiskeeperLite\" @ECHO OFF DELTREE /y c:\windows\history\*.* > NUL DELTREE /y c:\windows\tempor~1\*.* > NUL DELTREE /y c:\windows\temp\*.* > NUL DELTREE /y c:\windows\cookies\*.* > NUL DELTREE /y c:\windows\ShellIconCache if exist del c:\windows\system\advert.dll There is also a clean.bat batch file with these entries c:\windows\smartdrv.exe deltree /y c:\windows\tempor~1 deltree /y c:\windows\temp deltree /y c:\windows\tmp deltree /y c:\windows\ff*.tmp deltree /y c:\windows\history deltree /y c:\windows\cookies deltree /y c:\windows\recent deltree /y c:\windows\spool\printers del c:\WIN386.SWP exit I don't know if there are conflicts or if the above info will help. gorgan |

OK Jak, I think it's more than that for me. I had made an extra copy of the unzipped files in JakxPakIV.zip and copied those session files into the session folder on my C drive, but they still don't get written too. It's like once I've clicked the green arrow once it stops logging to those files.
PS I just thought I'd mention, I'm on Win98 and the default config along with JakxPak, ClassIDs, and a few other filters like that. {=(~::[Shea]::~)=} How 'bout you sideburns, you want some of this milk? This fading text is pretty cool, eh? I bet you wish you had some. |

My autoexec doesn't really Deletes the entries in the Session only folder, it just "overwrites" them with copies of the blank ones in the Rejuvenator folder.
I don't see any conflict with the other cmd files in JDs configs. Question: what does the Log window show after the lists are "Rejuvenated"? Check the path of the filter to the list. [Blocklists] List.StopTheMadness! = "..\Lists\StopTheMadness!.txt" List.SpooferByPass = "..\Lists\SpooferByPass.txt" List.ServerSoft = "..\Lists\ServerSoft.txt" List.ViaIV = "..\Lists\ViaIV.txt" List.ClientIP = "..\Lists\ClientIP.txt" List.JAgents = "..\Lists\JAgents.txt" List.versionServer = "..\versionServer.txt" List.CountryCodes = "..\Lists\CountryCodes.txt" List.Session-X-Forwarded-For = "C:\Jakx_Session_Only_list\Session-X-Forwarded-For.txt" List.Session-ClientIP = "C:\Jakx_Session_Only_list\Session-ClientIP.txt" List.Session-CountryCodes = "C:\Jakx_Session_Only_list\Session-CountryCodes.txt" List.Session-JakxAgents = "C:\Jakx_Session_Only_list\Session-JakxAgents.txt" List.Session-ServerSoft = "C:\Jakx_Session_Only_list\Session-ServerSoft.txt" List.Session-Via = "C:\Jakx_Session_Only_list\Session-Via.txt" List.X-Forwarded-For = "..\Lists\X-Forwarded-For.txt" List.Jakx-Fake-Proxy = "..\Lists\Jakx-Fake-Proxy.txt" List.Session-Jakx-Fake-Proxy = "C:\Jakx_Session_Only_list\Session-Jakx-Fake-Proxy.txt" Best Wishes, "Jak" |

"Gorgan, Shea"
change the autoexec file to this: @echo on DELTREE /y c:\Jakx_Session_Only_list\*.txt > NUL Pause This the Win98x format for autoexec wiping files. "Jak"=:-) |

Jak, the config file I have does not include those session lines. That might be the problem.

No, but see, I dont even have some of the lists. I'm missing versionServer. And I put those lines in my config file and still nothing.
Also Jak, DELTREE deletes the whole folder. {=(~::[Shea]::~)=} How 'bout you sideburns, you want some of this milk? This fading text is pretty cool, eh? I bet you wish you had some. |

Shea,
From what you have stated before, it seems those "missing files" were deleted when you clicked the green arrow. Just copy those from the Rejuvenator folder and place them into the Sessions_Only folder. However, if you keep the latter displayed on your desktop and click the green arrow, you will see them being deleted. I think the challenge is to get the lists in the Session_Only folder to be overwritten rather than being deleted as Jak explained how his works. It's probably a problem with Win 98. Regards, gorgan |

The versionServer file wasn't even present in my JakxPack.zip file. And the others I know are being delted when clicking the green arrow.

Sorry about that "Shea", this evening I will get another Package ready, and I will try to come up with better "batch" file that will work for Win98x. I was sure that the one that I had would work for WinNt & Win98x.

Jak Maybe instead of copying all the *.txt files, you should list all of them. Like it would be:
Code: @echo off And by the way, what do the /v switches do? I believe they are suppose to go before the files so it would be: COPY /v 'Files' {=(~::[Shea]::~)=} How 'bout you sideburns, you want some of this milk? This fading text is pretty cool, eh? I bet you wish you had some. |

Shea;
Quote:And by the way, what do the /v switches do? I believe they are suppose to go before the files so it would be:/v means "verify" the copy. It can go either before or after the filenames, but the book does only show it in the 'before' position. Oddysey I'm no longer in the rat race - the rats won't have me! |

Jak! I believe I have just solved your problem!!! Use this batch file:
Code: @ECHO OFF It completely eliminates the need for a Rejuvenate folder. It deletes all the files in the Session_Only folder and then logs a blank line to a file that doesn't exist which creates an empty file. {=(~::[Shea]::~)=} How 'bout you sideburns, you want some of this milk? This fading text is pretty cool, eh? I bet you wish you had some. |
