Still using PGP 6.5.8?

It works without problems for me on GPG 1.06, 1.07 (current version), and 1.1.90-nr1 (current test build).

I'll see if I missed some backward compatibility setting, thx for bringing it to my attention

Arne,

Did you delete his old pub key first? I will import it later and see if I can determine the problem. With so many users still using v6.5.8 they surely would maintain compatibility.

Jor have you tried Imad's PGP?

Yes I am still useing the same PGP :-) I did not delete the old one first. Then I deleted them both and imported again. No go.

Thanks for checking guys.

I asked around on the GnuPP newsgroup (German Gnu Privacy Project), and they suggested the development build I used may not be backwards compatible to PGP. So I replaced GPG with 1.0.7, and exported the same key:

Only major difference I can see is the lack of a comment string.
