Title: De Proxomitron/Privoxy Daisy Chain
Post by: cj. on August 11, 2002, 06:08:23 PM
Has anyone tried to daisy chain Proxomitron with Privoxy (http://www.privoxy.org/)?
I have both installed but had never had taken the time out to actually daisy chain another app alongside Proxo. Which is the best approach, ie.. what are the actual port setting for browswer/proxo/privoxy?

Thank you.

Hi "CJ",

Good to see You on the FORUM!
I went and checked out the Privoxy Program, and if I'm not mistaken, I think the default listening port for the Privoxy program is 8118. I'm not sure though. I would enter the Local-host IP and Privoxy's default port number in "Proxo's" Remote Proxy list. 127.0.0.1:8118
That's where I would start at anyway.

When I get a chance I will download it check it out. I like the specs on it.

Take Care CJ, and I hope that You have a Great After-Noon!
Best Wishes,
"Jak"
