I have lost hope that the free site, where we uploaded files, ever will get their mySQL up and running again. And as you know I have backed up the files you all have uploaded there to this site here.
I have tried to find nice ways to have the upload function incorporated to this board, but the installed components are a bit difficult to make secure inerfaces to. So here is what I have done.
I have made a function which shows you the files there and the links for downloading:
http://asp.flaaten.dk/pforum/fu/users/default.aspSo if the original posters of the uploaded files wish to change their links in their posts, it is quite easy.
A link that now looks like this:
http://arne.jaha.dk/download.php/1,
38,27/commentblock.zip
will be correct it you use this url:
http://asp.flaaten.dk/pforum/fu/users/38_27.zip
Notice the numbers in red. That is the common factor.
If someone wish to download a file which the original poster has not converted, (s)he can also do this change in the browsers url field.
I have prepared a local board, like the one we had on arne.jaha.dk , with upload function enabled. It is enabled after one register there and I have given the username permission to upload. It will be the same procedure as we had before, but with the change that the board is now located on my own domain.
We will not go back to using the arne.jaha.dk even if they come online again. It is not acceptable to be down for a week. I might only go get the posts there, if it comes online, and copy them over to this place, but that is all.
I am not going to make the file listing mentioned above any prettier, since it is only a tool to get hold of the files that have been missing since the mySQL server over at jaha.dk went down.
And the new board for uploading of files is here:
http://www.flaaten.dk/forum/index.phpIt is a fresh install and I have only tested it with a couple of posts to see if it works. It's only purpose is to be a filefarm.
Best wishes
Arne
