Very strange - no sessions, no HTML in the log window, yet I appear to be using Proxo's facilities via JAP.  That's to say, anonymity forums show me nicely incorrectly, yet Proxo's test says "failed".  I've got my browser (IE 6) set to use 127.0.0.1:8080 for both HTTP and HTTPS.  Proxo's remote proxy is set to 127.0.0.1:4001 (for JAP).  It must be a setting I've overlooked as I've previously collected HTMP when going to Hotmail via Outlook Express.  Oh, and I'm using CookieCooker via 127.0.0.1:4002 with IE's Automatic Configuration Script.

Any thoughts, please?  Thank you.

Hi "CheckOut",
You might want to check to be sure that the "Use Remote Proxy for these Connections" box is 'Ticked" in your I.E. Browser. I don't think that J.A.P would be working if it wasn't, but anything is possible.

Question: When you say,"anonymity forums show me nicely incorrectly", are you meaning that Proxo's filters are working but you can't see them at work in the Log-Window? Or Proxo filters are not working either? If Proxo's Filters are NOT working at all, but it's allowing you to use J.A.P, this might be the Problem.

Check to see if your Anti-virus up-dates and/or Download manager is downloading through Proxo!  My Anti-virus's Up-date "gutted" Proxo twice before I realized what was going on! I had to re-install Proxo to get things back up and running again. And it was the same symtom that you are describing. The Remote Proxy I was using, I was running through, but Proxo wasn't doing a thing. I don't know if that is source of the problem that you are experiencing, but you might want to check your A/V configurations.

Please let me know how you come out. I hope that You have a Wonderful & Blessed Day, MY FRIEND!
"JaK"

I've just logged on via Proxomitron and JAP, and gone to syscape.com/showbrow.asp to see what it can say about me.  My browser shows "Proxomitron Active" (because I added a filter to do so) and syscape reports my IP as proxy2.anon-online.org, which is JAP.

I guess it must be working!

Once again, I'm impressed with The Proxomitron's capabilities.  Thanks, guys.
