More Problems !

Boy is this driving me bananas ! My windoze pages are too big now and I have scroll bars now on the side and bottom of my pages ! Also in place of the removed ad's I have little red brackets . How do I get these fixed ? TIA  Ralph

I don't know about the windows being too big, but the [] are supplied as a replace by the filter.

Just edit the filter that's doing the work (or scan through the cfg file for the [] 's, and change them to something else/delete them, or go get jor's BRILLIANT cfg set (even tho i removed all the hotmail stuff) and install that lot - the css sheet will kill adds with no []'s...

hi ree1, welcome.

most of the times the empty square brackets are placed in the page by "banner blaster" when the banner contains the attribute alt="" with no alternative text.
this happens when the author use some html editor without clean the code manually.
to solve the problem, download my tweaked version of "banner blaster" that you can find in the dowload section of this forum. then, open your default.cfg file with a text editor (like notepad) and replace your default filter with mine.

<edit>: if you like any replacement at all, open your default.cfg file and remove the replacement line from banner blaster.
