Date format
« on: June 16, 2002, 04:41:25 PM »
The ISP hosting this domain has done the UNBELIEVALBLE thing of changing the date format on the server this weekend. That is really something one should not do.

I would appreciate if you told me where you find things breaking up or showing wrong dates. I have found it in the statistics on the bottom menu, and think I got it fixed. I also found it in the P-FAQ section where month and date have been switched, but it does not matter much there. Sp pleas tell me if you find it anywhere else.

I don't know whether it has anything to with this, but the latest posts in the Forms section don't show up under my active topics view.

It might have something to do with it. There is a drop down list there which read you cookie from you last login. It say something like "Last visit on... and a date"
Does the date there make any sence? You might have to log out and log in again to get a new corrected cookie. I get it fine here on this machine, but that does not mean much. Try it and see if it gets corrected.

I have already manually updated the dates in the P-FAQ, so that shoul dbe ok now, and I  have also written them a very red and hot email :-)

I logged off and on, and selected "Active Topics Since Last Week".
Still nothing under "Forms".
I mean, i can live with that. My eyes are still good enough to see the purple color of the sections, when they've changed (or was it blue?)

Ok, got it. It's the same with "SSL" when i select "Last Month".
So it's because i'm moderator there.

And you are sure the new cookie is set on your computer with the date a week back? I get it fine here, but so should you in my opinion. You are in Germany and have the european date format, I believe.

I wonder if anybody else haas this same problem.

That ISP is playing too much around. couple of days ago some of us even met a .htaccess look-alike login popup here on my domain. "We are sorryyyyy, it woooon't happen again" Yea. Right.
