Here is the link to an "Online popup-killing software tester". Cj posted it over at ComputerCops.

http://www.webknacks.com/aptest.htm

Really useful if you're messing around with your popup filter, like i do

Thanks for the link, made me finally see just what my current filter set cannot do yet :) (test A1, B1, B5 fail with my set... I think. I don't much care about B1 and B5, but A1 needs to be worked on )

Another great test suite is here: http://www.geocities.com/u82011729/prox/js_test.html

This checks for just about any annoying ECMAScript method I know of.

Yes, i stumbled over that one, too.
Very useful, as is his whole site (Paul Rupe).

I didn't get any pop-ups until the last one.. I needed to add "setInterval|setTimeout|captureEvents" to the "Stop browser window manipulation" filter.

Name = "Stop browser window manipulation"
Active = TRUE
URL = "($TYPE(htm)|$TYPE(js))"
Limit = 128
Match = "(setInterval|setTimeout|captureEvents|resize(By|To)|move(To|By)"
        "|((window|self|).(blur|focus))|scroll(To|by))1"
Replace = "Prox1"

I used Paul Rupe's site when I first started putting my config together.

Interesting. Did you do anything with WindowOpen.js?

Nope, I just had the following filters active.

Kill alert/confirm boxes
Stop browser window manipulation
Smart pop-up windows killer
OnUnload unloader

I had to disable "Kill Nosey JavaScripts v1" for the scripts to work. LoL

Ok. I just tested it with your modified config, it's similar to start/end js.
Start.js does this:

crippleFunctionPROX('resizeTo');
crippleFunctionPROX('resizeBy');
crippleFunctionPROX('moveTo');
crippleFunctionPROX('moveBy');
crippleFunctionPROX('scrollTo');
crippleFunctionPROX('scrollBy');
crippleFunctionPROX('blur');
crippleFunctionPROX('focus');
crippleFunctionPROX('setInterval');
// crippleFunctionPROX('setTimeout');
crippleFunctionPROX('captureEvents');
crippleFunctionPROX('close');

I had to disable 'setTimeout', because a couple of menues need it.
But it still passes the test.

Hmmm, I think I'll remove that then.

Thanks, sidki3003
Just try the site, the Proxo works fine for most of test, although the filter fails in A1, B1 & C2 test.

I have some troubles in dealing "Test C2. The stubborn popup".  A dialog box will jump up telling me to close the popup killing software and this dialog box could not be closed. I have to close the browser completely to solve this problem.

JD5000, does the filter you just mention here stop the last one?

If I remember correctly, to pass "Test C2" you need to enable "Kill alert/confirm boxes".

Hi "Friends",
             No Pop-ups here at all. However, I think my set is so "tight" that I couldn't click the window in the 4th test http://www.webknacks.com/aptesta4.htm.
Good Test-pages though!
Have a Wonderful day, My Friends,

Did anyone get all the test to work correctly?  If I click a button I should be able to open the window.  Right now I block everything.  I "failed" a few of the tests because I couldn't open a window.
