Banner Ads
« on: August 29, 2002, 04:50:52 PM »
I just installed Proxi 4.3 and set up the proxy on IE5.5. I had just removed Webwasher as it used up to many resources. In testing it out, I found that banner ads are getting through. For example, at the top of www.aol.com there are small banner ads and at search.aol.com there is a large classmates banner that gets through.

Oh, I am not an AOL user, I just knew that their sites would be full of ads!!

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Thanks, Larry

You might want to try the filter called DOM Banner Blaster v0.006
