I use UCMore, which attempts to offer links to other sites that are similiar to the site that a person is viewing.  For some reason, it has put this site under the heading of "single mothers".

For many years I ran a website called Single- & Parttime Parents. We were around 2-5000 members from 52 countries giving each other advice in divorce situations and about what is best for children under such circumstanses. It was a rather high trafic site and I also had quite a few professionals involved as well; doctors, social workers, police, lawyers and many more. The members were about 40/60 single fathers / single mothers. After I became sick I did not have the strength to keep up the work and I took the site offline. This is the reason you will find many references to my domain when searchin for things like this. Thesite was active from about when the net became public and until 3 years ago.

Man, this sounds like a real shame...having been married for <gasp> 21 years already I have no personal need, but I can imagine there is one...never found someone willing ofcourse to take it over? (not volunteering as I said, happily married)

It really was a lot of work and also about 100 email a day asking for help in difficult situations. I am also a licensed Social & Healt Worker and at the same time much experience with divorces and children's rights. A few documentary films have been made based on many of my views and opinions and also some radio shows in the USA. My special interest was Parental Alienation Syndrome and I was heavyly into politics on this topic. At the same time I ran a site about Parental Kidnapping and both found missing kidnapped children and also helped parents who could not survive the corrupt legal system. There were many things I used my time on. The trafic was increadably high and a lot was learned. Violence was also very much discussed, and against the usual statistics mine showed that violence towards men and boys were higher than against women and girls. It was almost a full time job. I did get an offer from someone in US to buy my project, but it was never sold. It was sort of my own little "giant baby" LOL.
