Remote Proxy & Bypass list
« on: June 24, 2002, 03:13:00 AM »
Currently I am using Proxomitron with the remote proxy feature on.  This proxy is specified by my ISP and can't be changed.  If I add a site to bypass list, I could not access that site as the proxy is not used.

1. How can I bypass a site so the site would not be filtered by Proxomitron but is still connecting to the remote proxy? (without changing the IE setting each time)

2. How can I bypass a site so the site would still be filtered by Proxomitron but only certain filters are left out?

Hi pb,

If you have proxo in remote proxy mode and then select bypass (button or tray menu), it will still use the proxy .

As to bypassing certain filters for certain URLs, i guess you'll need a bypass list and append (^$LST(My_Bypass_List)) to every URL field, e.g.

URL = "$TYPE(htm)(^$LST(My_Bypass_List))"

HTH, sidki
