Printing in foreign language

Urr.. don't know whether it is appropriate to ask this type of question here..

Currently I am using WinMe English version, how can I set up the computer so that it could print in languages other than English?

Hi,

Doesn't the printer print whatever it's sent? So, if you wanted to print something in a different language, you'd have to convert it before sending it to print.

Really?! I don't know about it.  At the moment, I could view foreign languages in IE after I download some special fonts from other machines for viewing these languages but when I try to print it out, they don't appear on the printout.

What do you mean by converting?  How can we do that?

Well the printer simply prints whatever is sent to the printer - it has (as far as im aware) no notion of language/font etc.

I'm not sure what you're saying here: that the printer simply doesnt print anything where the text would be, or doesn't print anything at all or what?...
But, this is almost certainly a print options thing, so i'd check your print options, looking for anything that might relate.

Note: The fact that you are using WinME English Edition shouldn't mean anything - I have used WinME English Edition and printed in korean characters before.
Note: Upgrade to Win2k or WinXP  (though this has nothing to do with the languages/printing etc)
