I have tested it after I made the last correction ? hour ago (not quite that long) and it works fine for me. sidki3003 also made it in. You should try it again now. Just tell me if you don't get the correct page now :-)

You are probably stuck in your own cache and would have needed to empty it.

Come to think of it, it will not work with a direct link. You have to have the referer from the policy page. Did you remember to allow cookies, referer and javascript?

It finally worked!

What I had to do was close the website, turn off Proxomitron, reopen the website (even with the Register URL, it still came up as the policy.asp site), but when I clicked Agree, with Proxomitron off, I was sent to the sign up page and was able to enter in my information.

It is not advicable to use Proxomitron on a forum like this. There are many reasons for that.

 

• The site uses cookies, javascript and referers.  


• I sometimes ban people bsed upon referers, IPs and other things  


• Many of the filters here will be parsed by Proxomitron so that you do not see the actual filter and will copy something wrong which will not work at all.

I hate being an idiot.  When registering at the new forum, I mada an error in my email address, which occurred to me about one second after I submitted.

Any way to fix it or will I have to register with new username?

I just tried to register, but had the same problem that Lea724 had not being able to get past the agreement page, it just keeps looping me back.

Your email address is not working. I know because I tried to send you an email and it was returned. So that is why you are having problems.

hmmmm....

after a long hiatus I can log on to the orignal forums easily.  Not so the new forums and if I try to update my profile; it says not valid email.    Same email that I started with.
